History
Rooted in Guangzhou, a city where pragmatism and innovation go hand‑in‑hand, the launch of Yu + Artspace delivers far more than an “art box”. At the intersection of reality and imagination, it initiates a long‑term experiment exploring the forms of future‑oriented society. We hope, in this highly‑connected yet deeply‑divided era, to build a bridge through art, enabling diverse cultures and forms of expression to coexist and engage in dialogue within one shared space. Since its inception, Snipe + Artspace has embodied the ethos of “Boundless Art, Cross‑boundary Symbiosis”, and its inaugural exhibition stands as a full‑fledged realization of this vision. Moving forward, we will continue with an open, inclusive and future‑oriented mindset, ensuring art maintains its academic depth while truly reaching out to the public.
All proceeds from the auction of eco‑friendly artworks will be donated to the Xurou Initiative, a public‑welfare programme empowering women. The funds will be earmarked for women‑led innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable‑development projects, enabling art to become a tangible force advancing social equity and inclusive growth.
